A Proven Model Delivering Lifesaving Progress
For over half a century, NFCR has pioneered a uniquely integrative, collaborative research model designed to catalyze breakthroughs across the entire continuum of cancer research:
- Fostering cross-disciplinary teams that unite diverse expertise to spark new insights
- Supporting researchers focused on innovative prevention, early detection, and treatment
- Providing vital funding from high-risk discovery research to late-stage clinical trials
Donations to NFCR directly contribute to translating cancer research into cures. Our longstanding relationships with researchers, institutions, and initiatives ensure that contributions fuel high-impact projects led by accomplished innovators. Two prestigious AACR awards, the Daniel D. Von Hoff Award for cancer education and training impact and the Waun Ki Hong Award for translational/clinical excellence, have honored past NFCR-funded researchers, reflecting our commitment to supporting research visionaries. This year, the AACR Award for Lifetime Achievement in Cancer Research will be presented to Dr. Steven A. Rosenberg, who was also a celebrated Szent-Györgyi Prize winner in 2019.
Powering Tomorrow’s Cures Through Vision and Partnership
