Play4TheCure this Fall

Summer is finally here, and that means fall is just around the corner! Because the fall season is the busiest and most productive season for Play4TheCure, we are encouraging teams to register for Play4TheCure now! Play4TheCure relies on partnerships with sports teams in the United States and around the world to raise awareness and funds for world-renowned scientists who lead the fight to prevent, treat, and cure cancer. In 2018, 247 teams partnered with Play4TheCure, raising more than $200,000. Register today to help Play4TheCure reach this year’s ambitious goal of $300,000!

Teams like University of Lynchburg’s women’s lacrosse team are key to helping Play4TheCure and NFCR find a cure for cancer.

Not only does Play4TheCure support cancer research, it also benefits athletic teams and programs by:

ABOUT PLAY4THECURE

Play4TheCure is the National Foundation for Cancer Research’s signature peer-to-peer fundraising program. Participants from all over the nation and the globe combine their passion for sports and athletic events with the fight to prevent, treat and cure cancer. Play4TheCure events engage professional, college, high school, middle school, and club teams for various sports, including but not limited to field hockey, softball, lacrosse, baseball, volleyball, swimming, soccer, football, and track.

All funds raised go directly to supporting high-impact cancer research that will ultimately be responsible for preventing and curing cancer
